Default Xen blanks from hook & hackle

I am considering building a new rod. Has anyone had any experience with XEN blanks from Hook @ Hackle? If so, I would appreciate your comments.
Thanks,
barham

Good question. Not many have because there are no commercially available rods built on these blanks (that I know of). If I am not mistaken these are the Gary Loomis designed "North Fork Composits" blanks post sale of G.Loomis to Shimano. If this is the case they may be terrific foundations for building a first rate rod. Please keep us all posted on your experience with this new rod you are building.

Does anyone have further insight into the performance of these blanks?

Check this link to North Fork Composites. /northforkcomposites.com/catalog/fly-fishing/trout-fly.

As S&S said, they supply ZEN blanks to H & H. Should be able to answer any additional questions you have about the blank you want to use.

Best of luck with the project.
