Yeah, probably a low chance of scraping the blank but who knows. I like covering that portion just because it makes a level surface and an even progression.

I like this rod a lot. simple, ready to fight like it is suppose to do. nothing fancy just a work horse that has a lot of style. kudo's to ya.
