A couple new builds I'm working on

Here's a couple I've got on the bench right now. One is for a buddy who is a guide down on the Mexican/Belize border. My very first pro staffer!!!! The other is one I'm building to take to the Keys with me in Feb.

May I ask what brand blank you are using?

They're both rod geeks. One is an 8wt the other is a 9wt

The reel seat is delrin. As for the white, I've been building more "modern" styled fly rods lately. The grip is carbon fiber. When I was planning the build I knew I was going to be using it in the keys and I though I wanted to make the grip a lighter color so it wouldn't get hot in the sun. Then I thought "All White!" White seat, white grip, white wraps on a natural blank. It'll look like a storm troopers fly rod!

Not sure what I will do with this one keep it or trade it. It's just fun to build.
