Default Cabela's Traditional ll Spey

I see that Cabela's has these rods on sale. I'd appreciate any info ya'll have on these. Is this a good pick for a learner two-handed rod?
Thanks, John

Hi John,
I have not casted the rod, but I'm sure that it could get you started off. I would call Cabelas customer service to get an idea what its line recommendations would be. I did not see a line recommendation on the Rio site.

I bought one of these in a 9wt last summer and it is a fast action stick, tried it with Orvis spey line and felt under gunned, went with Rio 600gr Skeg and it shoots pretty darn good for it's price point
