    That's a spinning rod
Can't tell what the brand is from the pictures, but it doesn't appear to be in very good shape

Is it worth buying for 100 and restoring I believe it's old.

As it looks, and without knowing the maker, I'd have to say that it's value is not even close to $100. Maybe closer to $25 or less, but that's just a guess.

Are you sure it's bamboo? It looks like fiberglass to me
A bamboo rod would be 6 sided, fiberglass cylindrical
If it's glass, the value would be even less.

Looks a lot like a Sears/Ted Williams rod that I have
I think they were made by H-I

I can't see it well enough to identify bamboo or not. However if it was bamboo I am not seeing anything about this rod that says it is a quality piece. Owning about 25 bamboo rods, I would pay $30 for it and sell it for $75 in a antique store, counting on taking a year for it to sell.

It is only my opinion but... walk away.

I was going fly fishing until my wife suggested it, now I can't tell who is outsmarting who!
