Default Montegue 3 Piece Bamboo Rod

I've gone and found one of these rods at a very reasonable price.
I'm somewhat enamored by the bamboo rod and would like to get one.

Does anyone know any info on these rods.
I currently have limited information on the rod;
its in good condition with some wear on the handle.

I'm waiting on detailed pics...

Comments or info would be great...thanks

Default Re: Montegue 3 Piece Bamboo Rod

Montegue was the largest producer of bamboo fly rods and a lot of them are pretty low quality, but many are well worth having.
Shorter rods are lighter weight and can be more enjoyable to fish
