That settles it Joni. I'll be tossing dries at daybreak in the morning. Gonna pack now. Seriously. That picture did it. Well and the weather report,,,cloudy, on the cool side, and foggy tonite. Should have bugs falling in the water wholesale as the sun comes up.
I've fallen under the spell of how kewl it might be to fish dries on bamboo. Alas, so many fishing rods, so little money !

That looks like a neat reel for a lady fisherperson, Joni. Might I inquire what make, etc,,it is ? Nice reel.

I'd say I use these rods more than any others. In order shown in photograph-->
    -8' 4 weight superfine touch
    -9' 5 weight access (tip-flex)
    -9' 5 weight VXP
    -11' 8 weight Z-Axis switch
    -13'6" 7 weight Z-Axis Spey
-**12'6" 5 weight Z-Axis spey** Will post soon just got the rod

Clearly I have a thing for green blanks. I would be happy with green blanks and wood inserts for life!

No glass yet I'll get there. I'm hoping orvis's soon to come glass rods end up being winners, it'd be fun to grab an 8'6" 4 weight glass stick when that day comes.
