I was lucky enough to get a custom rod from DiverDan. The workmanship and quality is as good or better than I have seen from any rod builder I have known. I bought it here so there is probably a pic around. I will try to get one up.

I like the ebony wood insert, very nice touch. They were very understated compared to todays flashy finishes huh? And by the way, your foot, your foot is in the photos

Definitely, I really like the finish on this rod. Very subdued but yet very classic looking. I really like the hook keeper as it is a ring similar to what the Sage LL series rods were done like I wonder if that is where they got the idea from.

I know not only once but twice I got my foot in the pictures. I'm fired from taking photos now. LOL
