Smile Re: 2 piece or 4 piece ?

Thanks everyone!
I am going to build a 4 wt and was thinking of a 2 pc---Just a little less work. I won't be flying and I can get a 2 pc in my old Bronco so if the performance is abut the same, 2 pc it is.
Thanks Jack

You're building it? That's great! One thing to keep in mind if you're building a 2 piece. Make sure your rod wrapping stand has supports wide enough to support the blank while you're working on either end.

I have a mix of 2 and 4 section rods. I prefer two but don't have a great reason for that. I was looking at a custom rod and the rod maker said the two-piece would be slightly softer than the 4. Not sure if it would be a noticeable difference.

Doesnt really matter for that wt size. I prefer a 4 piece because it's easier to travel with.
