Default TFO TiCr vs TFO TiCrX

What is the difference between the 2 rods? I've read the reviews and the TFO info on the TiCrX and want to know how much of a difference between its performance and strong points and the older model of the TiRc. I'm looking at a used TiCr in a 8wt for large streamers/Bass/light Salt does anyone have any experience or knowedge of these 2 models

I have the X. I use it for King Salmon and the 8 weight has enough backbone to handle those bruisers with no problem. Its a very strong, very fast 8 weight and if you like fast rods this is a great stick. The previous poster was correct, the X is faster...as for feel...who knows

The TiCr X is a very fast rod with lots of power. I would suggest trying or at least wiggling one before you buy one. It's definitely not everyones cup of tea. If you find you need a rod for throwing monstrous flies to big fish or casting into strong winds, this might be the rod for you.
