Looking for 10' #3?

I'm looking for a 10 foot #3 rod. I see Hardy makes a Zenith in that size/weight, but that's it so far.. any others people know of?

Allen fly fishing makes a 10ft. 3wt. Never used one, but those guys are awesome to deal with.

Seems like a sweet deal. I pulled the trigger on the 6'6" 3 wt. Last weeks deal of the week. Can't wait.

I just checked the Scott web site and though they have 2 10'/#4's...no 3. I was surprised but the Hardy/Grays folks would have good experience with such sizes because of the Euro stillwater craze.

The Allen seems perfect, it's described as a Fast action rod, which I want

Got a Cortland brook 10'#4....think it can be used with a 3 wt line without problem...it's far cheaper...you even should find some on sale

What kind of fishing do you plan on doing with it? Why do you need a 10 ft rod?

Why use a 9 foot when I can use a 10?

Just something to try out... recommend by someone.. he's been using them for quite a while, and he's a Montana expert.. known by almost everyone here

His recommendation alone, is worth trying it, better line control, more flex on the tip

He said something yesterday I thought was very funny.. we used to call it nymphing, now they call it Czech nymphing.. lol

Have a look at the Marryat Tactical 10ft 3# its a sweet tool if you can get it there.

I use my Scott S4 10ft 4# a lot and thats great at dries as well as nymphing.

Echo makes a 3wt 10' called the Shadow PE... Pete Erickson (Fly Fishing TeamUSA) signature model. I've seen them on sale at Cabelas for just over 2 Benjamins.

I have a Grey's Streamflex 10' 4 weight. They make a 3 weight. It might be my favorite rod to fish right now.
