Default Vintage Powell fly rods Info

I fish mainly modern glass (Mcfarland , Kenney , Steffen ) but love classic graphite Superfines, Winston IM6 etc. Heard alittle history of Chico era Powell but saw a vintage LTT rod and am curious LTT= Light trout taper? Any information would be appreciated

Those are not the REAL Powell Rods made by the masters in that family, if it was built after the company was taken over...Read HERE:

Spare The Rod - The Flyfishing Connection

It was reviewed here:

Light Touch Traditional series fly rod | Field & Stream

When Chuck Schwab took over the name, it was all downhill for the Powell Rod Co. They manufactured junk..I have one of the early 80's era graphite rods - an 8'6", 5wt...

PT Much thanks for links. WOW what an American tragedy . Appreciate your info as the review does not indicate that the rods are not original Powell rather modern copies.

I have a couple of their Legacy Rods, a 9'5 WRK...remember those? it is a 9'4-5

I also have the 8' 3 Legacy blank. I put a Nice cork handle on it but never finished it.

I have a couple of their IM6 rods that are a real pleasure to cast.

Anybody want to buy my 2 blanks? I don't think I will ever find time to wrap them.

RICH Attempted to e mail you as appreciate your info but still no direction on how or where to find one for sell? Flexible on rod either 4 or 5 weight would be nice to own. Anyone have an extra willing to part with? Thanks
