Published paper question

There is a guy named G.A. Spolek, who wrote a paper on fly rods in 1993. He also wrote one in the American Journal of Physics [54 (9) (1986) 832–835]. Also one titled Spolek, G.A., “Fly Rod Spines,” The Engineering in Sport 5, International Sports Engineering Association, pp. 319-325 (2004).

Does anyone have or know where to find those papers?

Did any of these papers reference earlier work by anyone else?
