to the forum.if you can, try some rods and choose the one you like best.It's hard to find a really bad rod on the market nowadays....

Here's my newest rig that I got from Bass Pro. It Bass Pro brand - KingFisher reel and Deciever rod - 9', 10w with Rio wf line (and backing). The whole package complete was $220 and so far, it seems to have a nice action. Its not as good as some of those thousand dollar jobbers but it works and I've been having some fun with it.

They had various weights to choose from. They also had other packages from Redington etc...

Personally, my goal is to rule the world with crappy rods and then buy the good stuff when I'm old... (Kinda like golf)
