A few months ago my mom gave me this old fly rod that belonged to a deceased relative of mine. I think that it is bamboo but am not certain. It has no information on it. It is in three sections and is a 9' rod. It has two tip sections. One of these tip sections needs the male end of the joint replaced. Please look at the photos and help me figure out what brand it is and what weight it is. I would like to have it refinished as well. Thanks in advance

Hiya, and welcome to the forum.
I think we need more info/ better pics. Examine the cane just above the cork for any writing and all of the metal reel seat (including the butt) for engravings. All the best!

Rod was made pre WWII as evidenced by the close wraps going up the rod. This was done because of the inferior glues at the time. The bugle tip is also a giveaway but suspect it is a replacement. Look very close on/around the reel seat area. Mind you this is just a guess but would suspect Montague or Kingfisher.
