My lamiglas was built by an older guy who lived up the street.
He apprenticed in scotland way back before I was born.
He has since passed but man did he have the stories.
This rod is what they called a wind rod across the pond back in the day.
It has 3 strippers fairly close together and 18 running guides. Yes, I did say 18 single foot guides. It is one of the best cating rods I have used.
We built a few rods together and most were over guided by todays standards.
It was an art form the way he put a blank on a board and hang a weight on the end and place the guides so the line never touched the blank.
If ya want I can post a pic of this rod with all the guides.
It is my go to bass rod to date. iI is a piece of work.
It is a 3 pc rod and the tip section has 11 Sf guides plus a tip top.
The mid section has 6 Sf guides plus a stripper.
The handle has 2 strippers.

Brian: I don't know anything about your rod, but it sure sounds interesting. How about posting a few pictures? We would love to see what it looks like.
