Default just thinkin

hey guys.. now im just blabberin on so just hang with me.. i currently have a 8' 4 wt and a 9' 6 wt, that are money. but as always im lookin for alittle more. i have decieded to add to my arsenal, im thinkin a 8 or 9 wt, something to sling some big ole bugs through this nasty tx wind.. i can possible foresee some redfishin in my future(never been), so maybe a saltwater rod?? ive also heard alot of switch rods(im liken what im hearin too), but never had a chance to get ahold to one of em. anybody have any opinions about em? Now im still a college kid, so this "magic stick" is going to have to be reasonably priced, at a modest < 400$. now im in no hurry to blow my savings. so i want to get the right one for the job.. any suggestions or ideas are greatly appreciated

Get a TFO TiCR or ECHO Classic or Ion 9' 8wt.

Where in TX are you fishing?

I'd rather hunt fish than bait deer any day.

I would opt for one of the lower priced sages in an 8 wt or the redington predator in an 8 wt.
For 400 you can get one of teh sage bass rod in the largemouth rod it also comes with a line made for that rod
