    Actually there was a reel on it. I didn't mention it because the reel is in great working shape and with a little prep work in the off season it'll be almost new. It's a Pflueger Medalist, small arbour. The line is shot but that's not an issue, and I could use one of my 5 weight lines if needed but I'll probably buy a new line for it.

    There was no sock or tube, but the rod was stored in a safe spot in the garage (on the wall) and is also very well taken care of.

    Next spring we'll find out how it handles
