Flyguys, we're full up on this one, but we'll be running more swaps and you're welcome to jump in on them.

Lancer, that pattern sounds killer- looking forward to seeing it.

My flies are all finished, I hope to get to a post office in the next few days. I'll post a picture if I can get near a decent camera over the fourth.

    Hi Mark,

I'm slowly being won over by the patterns that Chris (ChrisinselwynZNZ) is posting on this classic NZ streamer thread. So, I think that I'll tie up a Matuka pattern for this swap (probably in olive).

    Mark,

My Matukas are done. I'll ship them off to you this week.

Here's a pic of the fly and the recipe:

    Hook: TMC 5263, #4
    Thread: Uni 8/0, olive
    Body: Chenille, medium, dark olive
    Thorax: Uni yarn, red
    Rib: UTC ultrawire, small, gold
Wing: Whiting American cock cape, grizzly dyed olive
Hackle: Whiting American cock cape, grizzly dyed olive

And here's 15 of them; got to save a few for fishing!

Hope they fish well for everyone.

Pocono's flies arrived today, more great looking stuff.

How's everyone else coming along? I'd like to keep us all on track for the Aug 15 due date.
