Default Re: It's time for Swap #1 - Streamers

Two more packages showed up in today's mail; one from mudbug and one from biggie_robs.

Those bendbacks look good, Eric! I'm ready to give them a try.

Same for those hotcore baitfish, Rob! They're going to look great swung or stripped through the water.

One more to go and this swap is a wrap.

I'll start taking the pics and making sure that I have all of the recipes. If I don't then I'll PM those that need to post their recipes. When I post the pics, the recipes will be under each pic, so that you have all of the basic information in one place.

Take it with you on your bonefish trip. I know it's not really a bonefish fly but who knows what else you might end up casting to.

Thanks again for the understanding and patience fellow tiers. Both sets of flies are in the mail today and should arrive tomorrow.

John, your flies made it from New Brunswick! They look great; nice ties!

This swap is now a wrap and everyone's flies will be going out to them in Saturday's mail.

Gentlemen, your flies are in the mail; headed back to you. You should start to see them the first part of next week.

Eunan, your flies were sent to Larry, as requested, as a donation to Casting for Recovery - thanks!

baseman1, I'm holding onto your flies until the Round Two swap is finished up; since it's easier for me to send a single package to Canada. Hope that's OK with you.

I have one "left over" fly, so if anyone gets shorted on mudbug's Backbend Streamer, sing out; I have your fly and will send it along to you separately (no fair trying to double up on this offer...............)

mudbug, I have your Bass Pro Shops fly box. I couldn't get all of the other flies to fit in it. If you want it back, then let me know and I'll mail it to you.

I'll try to get the pics and recipes posted to this thread tonight, and will post them again to the Fly Swap Pictures subforum when I get back from Bonefishing.

You're going to enjoy fishing these flies, they're a bunch of great patterns!

    PM me with any questions.

I kinda figured you would send them back all at once. No worries here.

    Really?

I don't think I sent a fly box, it was just one of those plastic, 5 compartment boxes that get's used more for hard baits and lures.

Must be some big flies coming my way. What did you ship them in?

Keep it, we'll call it a trade.

Right, it was a 5 compartment plastic box. OK, I'll keep it.

What you're getting in trade is a plastic soap dish!!
