Foam Fly Swap for 2014

The Deer Hair Fly Swap will wrap up next week and we have had a couple recommendations for a Foam Fly Swap, so I'm good with that and will open the next swap up to any fly with foam, first 12 members are in the swap. I'm thinking we will put a deadline for finished flies to me by Monday April 21. Who's interested?

Just a fly swap reminder, please put toe tags on each of your flies ( a toe tag can be your name and your flies name or both), send either a self addressed stamped envelope (one of those thick mailers, not a business envelope) or a couple dollars to cover expenses on sending the flies back. Also it is a good idea to put your flies in some small container link an Altoids container or something similar.

It's getting close to steelhead time on NY's Salmon River. To celebrate the rite of Spring, I'm going to tie the Steelhead Beetle.

Steelhead Beetle - For a long time I didn't know the name of this fly and called it Dustin's Broom. Its real name is the Steelhead Beetle. - Global FlyFisher

Being new, I am tying the same number of flies as participants, right?
