Thank you for this fine tutorial. But, where did you get your latex? Does it come in the brown color you showed or did you color it? Sorry to be so obtuse, but I searched J. Stockard and Feather-craft but got no result for latex. Thanks for your help.

You can use "Scud Back", or you can just use a sharpie and ziplock bag cut into a 1/8" strip as a substitute. Thin skin would also work. For a flashier scud, you can also use a piece of pearl flashabou.
