Crystal flash issue?

I have a packet of pearl crystal flash.Due to age its losing its pearl colour and turning a light yellow.
I have so much of it i dont want to buy more.
Can i clean it?

I have no idea, but try it on a sample and see. If it doesn't work, you can still tie yellowish flies.

The best way to wash crystal flash is to tie some onto a fly and then drag it under the water.

The fish don't really care what color it is.
Every move a baitfish makes changes the way that it appears sub-surface.
Baits with shiny mirror-like flanks reflect the colors beside them at every twist.
Baits in the same school will look completely different from their mates depending on the direction that they're facing
