You will notice that we are showing some different sized banners on the forums now whilst trialling a self-service system for forum advertisers.
These are sized at 300x100 pixels and charged at a rate of £2.50 per 1,000 impressions with a minimum purchase of 10,000 impressions for £25 spread equally over the course of 30 days. (Apologies we can only offer £ pricing right now as it's part of a larger trial across all our sites and being UK based it is our default currency.)
You get a login to your account to view banner statistics and a report by email on a weekly basis, and can easily purchase more banner impressions and change your banner to a new one as you desire. We have done some testing and so far it all seems to work ok but time will tell if we need to tweak anything. You can pay by Paypal and apart from that you just need to have a banner ready to upload (no more than 100Kb in size) and the URL you wish it to connect to.
Promotion code - the first 12 to sign up can take 50% off the price by entering the promotion code of halfpricena in the promotion code box in the top right hand corner of the screen and pressing apply (which should confirm 50% will be taken off at checkout.) Only one code per member please and let's keep it fishing related - it's not for trying to sell your old banger or a kidney!
