Attempting to be a minimalist...I've carried on average 2, but this year I'm going to try to keep it down to 1. I'll keep others in my car or at camp to transfer into my Cliff Super Days Worth.

I carry varying numbers depending on what and where I am fishing but seldom no more than four. In my bag there's usually another four or five minimum and at times up to ten or more.

I carry two, a leather wallet for streamers and a small wheatley for wet and dry fly's. I should only be carrying a streamer wallet, still learning how to fish them properly.

I was going fly fishing until my wife suggested it, now I can't tell who is outsmarting who!

Being "one with nature" requires a knowledge of what animals are living nearby and a weapon of sufficient magnitude to give you at minimum an equal chance of survival. No one has an invisible aura that animals can detect and sense your good intentions.

I carry 2 really small boxes. 1 with wolly buggers and nymphs, plus a couple of indicators and split shot, and another with dries. So far that's worked ok.

Usually I carry two boxes. Either one with nymphs and one with dry flies or one with bigger streamer (for pike) and one with smaller streamers (for perch). I try to keep the weight of my vest or bag as low as possible.
