Thread: Favorite Western Tailwater?

  1. Default Re: Favorite Western Tailwater?

Have only fished the Green in Utah, S Platte in Co. , Lees Ferry in Az. & the SJR (extensively)......none match up w/ the SJR for numbers & size.....scenery is better other places....but if you are looking around you ain't catching fish!

WHILE THESE WATERS MENTIONED, MAY BE NICE TO FISH, I HAVE TO VOTE FOR TWO GREAT FISHERIES, CLOSE TO WHERE I LIVE IN IDAHO, AND THEY ARE THE OROGRANDE CREEK AND KELLY CREEK. THESE TWO FISHERIES ARE BOTH TRIBUTARIES OF THE NORTH FORK OF THE CLEARWATER RIVER IN CLEARWATER COUNTY. PIERCE IDAHO IS THE JUMPING-OFF POINT FOR THESE TWO BLUE RIBBON STREAMS. COME IN OCTOBER!!!!!.
YOU CAN GET INFORMATION BY CALLING THE CEDAR INN IN PIERCE AT 1-800-450-0250
