Great line! Shoots very well. I had the Sharkskin line, absolutely LOVED how the line fished and floated, but it was rubbing the finish off my rods, and did cut my fingers while streamer fishing and got hard takes.....

I sent my sharkskins in and got the mastery textured. MUCH better now! The perfect in-between line. Casts like butter, floats high...easy to mend. Can't get any better besides the price!

Was recently talking to a Scott dealer where all the shop employees are big G2 fans. They recently tested this line in various weights on the 8'8" rods and the results were unanimous that this was the perfect line for the G2. I don't know if I'll get one this year, but its' tops on my list when my current line wears out.
