Default Jack Nicklaus Agrees To Join The Federation Of Fly Fishers As A National Spokesperson

This will likely be good news for the fly tackle industry- http://www.prweb.com/releases/2006/4/prweb370529.htm

I'd rather hunt fish than bait deer any day.

Thats great! With all the changes that are going on with protecting and not protecting valuable wildlife areas it will be great to have another voice on our side.

Makes me feel even better about having bought his brand new Nicklaus Q4 Driver this week. Can't wait to hit the course.

Since mike/fshfanatic passed up this opportunity, I'll take it.-

Its good to know that the streams of Utah will be afflicted with less air pollution from Curtis' waders since he's spending time on the golf course. HAHA!

    THAT IS NOT FUNNY!

    LOL! Okay, it is.

Actually, I have long considered a club that also has a place for a reel. I have seen too many of those golf course ponds with big bass or carp in them and have had a ten minute gap waiting for the group in front of me to hit. Some corny club/rod invention would be great about then.

    Thought a little golf humor would be in order for this thread;

This sign is posted at a local golf club in the northern California area:

    1. BACK STRAIGHT, KNEES BENT, FEET SHOULDER WIDTH APART.

    2. FORM A LOOSE GRIP.

    3. KEEP YOUR HEAD DOWN.

    4. AVOID A QUICK BACK SWING.

    5. STAY OUT OF THE WATER.

    6. TRY NOT TO HIT ANYONE.

    7. IF YOU ARE TAKING TOO LONG, PLEASE LET OTHERS GO AHEAD OF YOU.

    8. DON'T STAND DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF OTHERS.

    9. QUIET PLEASE...WHILE OTHERS ARE PREPARING TO GO.

    10. DON'T TAKE EXTRA STROKES.

    WELL DONE

NOW FLUSH THE URINAL, GO OUTSIDE AND TEE OFF
