Default Mating color silk with other colors

Have FG post her new discovery. Maybe not new but cool. winding a blue thread base, then putting yellow silk over it. Crazy chirono.

Things have been a little touchy since I got back. Logging on and no forum portal to find stuff......................

Weird, I posted to a thread called Buggers and the post ended up here..........................

That does sound good.

I tie a lot of soft hackles with Pearsall's primrose silk and when it's wet, it definitely takes on a translucent yellow-green color. The blue thread base sounds to me like it should create an even more "insect green" translucent body. I'll be trying it soon!
