    Default 132.5' cast with a 6 wt.

This is a 77 mb file so it takes a little time to load, but this is the farthest cast I have ever heard of with a single hand rod. Some guy in Europe named Lasse. It is in slow motion so you can see everything pretty well.http://flycasting.chipmonk.se/132.avi

Lassie can't hold a candle to Rajeff.

Do you by any chance know what he was casting when he did that? Lasse was casting a 9' 6wt. TCX690 Sage and a SA ED line. I've seen Rajeff casting similar stuff and he hit 114 and 120' 10". I Know he hit something like 240 overhead casting a spey rod.

Here's a copy of the rules. I think it would be hard for anybody to beat Rajeff. I've seen him over the past xx years at the ISE shows here in Salt Lake. The guy is a fantastic distance caster, and as for accuracy, he's damn good at that too. I saw a show where Steve and brother Tim wiped up the competition on accuracy competition and also catching fish. He's just not a distance caster but a great all around caster and fisherman.

(p.s.- I noticed that the 236' distance was the fly distance. The leader has a fly on the end of it.) Steve has a 190' distance record of just distance. No fly.)
