I do love to cach trout, but i have never hooted and hollered upon hookup with a rainbow or brown like i do with a big beautiful red. Reds got me hooked on this sport, and they're still my favorite fish to chase.

I'd rather hunt fish than bait deer any day.

Default ONE FISH

For myself there is only one answer, even tho l have a ton of different species that l have caught around the world, some of em l do not even know what they were.

The no 1 fish in my book is the Atlantic Salmon, it is so far as l am concerned the in all and be all of a game fish, very unlike the Pacific salmonid species, and much more difficult to catch too. I have a few 100 of those under my belt but l still love to fish for that species.

The very thought as l write this of feeling the take from that fish is

DAVY WOTTON.

Aww Davy, I tihought your favorite fish would be the orange-spotted sunfish. Those monsters grow to at least 0.20 lb and to an extraordinary lenght of 6".

I much as I love trout fishing. I would have to go with the Smallmouth Bass. There is nothing more exciting than watching a your topwater offering disapear in a violent explosion on the water and then the fight of a nice Smallie!
