    Default Alive & Well

    Hey everyone!

I am back home in Wasilla; I see now that I should have made it clear that I had no idea of when I would return.

It is nothing short of amazing to me that I found three, (3), pages of posts on a thread called "Where's Ard".

Thanks to all of you who missed me and I am truly sorry that I did not make clear how long I would be away. Your concern makes clear once more that This Is Indeed The Best Forum That Could Ever Be!

To me, the journey of learning is almost more fun than arriving at the destination of knowing.

I wasn't too worried, figured you were just bad/good enough neither place was ready for you yet.
Each smallest act of kindness - even just words of hope when they are needed, the remembrance of a birthday, a compliment that engenders a smile - reverberates across great distances and spans of time, affecting lives unknown to the one whose generous spirit was the source of this good echo, because kindness is passed on and grows each time it's passed, until a simple courtesy becomes an act of selfless courage years later and far away.

Ard, I found that your paper, the Mat-Su Valley Frontiersman, has the temperature on it's site. I'm a little depressed that the whole time I kept checking it, it was warmer there than here. More than 30 degrees sometimes. It just seems wrong that I live in a spot in the lower 48, colder than Alaska. At least your part of it.(blue 'cause it's frozen) It's pretty normal to be able to drive North into Canada and have it warm as you go. Just seems wrong.
