I grew up in the Eastern Panhandle, near Martinsburg. Hunt in Morgan County. Usually fish the North Fork of the South Branch around Seneca Rocks to Smoke Hole.

Romped all over most of the state at one time or another. Family in Lewis County (my father grew up there), Summers and Kanawha counties.

Been to Wheeling once. To Oglbay park. That was years ago when I was in High School.

Thanks for looking through my galleries.

Perhaps we could join up on a river sometime...
I used to go right through Buckannon on my way to my grandparent's place. Now they have the by-pass, so I haven't been in the city for a long time.
My sister was in the Strawberry Festival pageant back in the day.

Hello from Alberta, Canada. I think I am supposed to go to Virginia this year, but I can't remember where exactly.....another "to do" on my list.
Welcome, this is one of the best places I have visited since I began looking around in 1995, enjoy the knowledge and by all means add to it!!
Each smallest act of kindness - even just words of hope when they are needed, the remembrance of a birthday, a compliment that engenders a smile - reverberates across great distances and spans of time, affecting lives unknown to the one whose generous spirit was the source of this good echo, because kindness is passed on and grows each time it's passed, until a simple courtesy becomes an act of selfless courage years later and far away.
