Hello all! So far i've been looking at a "decent" rod and reel. I recently recieved a fly fishing kit from walmart as a gift. I think it was the $20 kit. Very nice starter kit i believe. I learned how to cast pretty good with it and even a couple of sunnies and blue gills. Now i want to get a better rod and reel. The other one is just too clumsy. I was looking at these, rod: TFO 05 86 2 - http://www.percysflies.com/page/LCOWS/PROD/TempleForkRod/TempleForkSer1reel - http://www.percysflies.com/page/LCOWS/PROD/RedingtonSpool/CDSeriesSpool5/6 wt.So what do you guys think? Good buy?

pretty much any tfo rod is good and reels are just a matter of choice though make sure you get one that will hold line fitting to your rod. dont buy a rod off the internet go to a shop and get one so you can see how it feels and get advise from the ppl their.

another thing to do is get ahold of steve at the full creel. i bought a 5wt. tfo from him earlier this year. haven't had much of a chance to use it. but the times i have it was very nice. a gentleman on another forum was talking about there warranty work. about 2 week turn around, no question asked, and $20 for shipping. not bad at all. he also said they usually don't fix the broken part they just replace it. just my 2 cents worth.
