Fly Rods and Reels
Hello all! So far i've been looking at a "decent" rod and reel. I recently recieved a fly fishing kit from walmart as a gift. I think it was the $20 kit. Very nice starter kit i believe. I learned how to cast pretty good with it and even a couple of sunnies and blue gills. Now i want to get a better rod and reel. The other one is just too clumsy. I was looking at these, rod: TFO 05 86 2 - - wt.So what do you guys think? Good buy?

Re: Fly Rods and Reels
pretty much any tfo rod is good and reels are just a matter of choice though make sure you get one that will hold line fitting to your rod. dont buy a rod off the internet go to a shop and get one so you can see how it feels and get advise from the ppl their.

Re: Fly Rods and Reels
another thing to do is get ahold of steve at the full creel. i bought a 5wt. tfo from him earlier this year. haven't had much of a chance to use it. but the times i have it was very nice. a gentleman on another forum was talking about there warranty work. about 2 week turn around, no question asked, and $20 for shipping. not bad at all. he also said they usually don't fix the broken part they just replace it. just my 2 cents worth.
