For several years, I've used those cleaning pads by Scientific Anglers...you just wrap one around your line and pull your line thru...works either wet or dry. You can clean your line in less than a minute. I always carry one with me when toting my flyrod.

JP: Me too, but maybe it would be a good idea. I usually only clean my lines at the end of the fishing season. LOL!
