    Default Fly fishing tattos.

    I was looking at a thread on a different forum, one I don't use much and saw a thread with a guy's tattoo of a fly. It was a really well done tattoo and had a link to the tattoo artist's site. I went there and found this ;

    It was a bold choice of fly fishing tattoo. Do you think it's going to help him get dates?

    Maybe some dates with some really big trout, hah. However, the topic got me googling fly fishing tattoos, and I came up with this:

    I thought this image (or this style at least) would make for a pretty sharp tattoo-

    I'd rather hunt fish than bait deer any day.

    would go great with some grizzly hackle sewn into the hair...

    Funniest tattoo I ever saw started on the guys chest with a hound chasing a rabbit. It went up over his shoulder and down his back and ended with the rabbit jumping in the hole...

    I was going fly fishing until my wife suggested it, now I can't tell who is outsmarting who!

    Being "one with nature" requires a knowledge of what animals are living nearby and a weapon of sufficient magnitude to give you at minimum an equal chance of survival. No one has an invisible aura that animals can detect and sense your good intentions.

    My favorite was a Senior Chief on my second submarine. He was a diesel boat sailor his whole career, and got sent to my second sub, a nuke. He got a tad tipsy in the Phillipines and had two screws (Navy talk for propellers) tattood on his butt that said "20 Knots, no smoke."

    Hahaha, sounds like quite the interesting tattoo, Dan... and nothing adds to humor like a tattoo being located on one's cheek (though it may be an issue of laughing at vs laughing with depending on if this is a face cheek or the further south type!)
