    Default World Records???

Does anyone know where one can find a list of World Records online by species?

Line class and all tackle would be sweet.

All I can find is links to the IGFA site which they want you to pay to be a member. I used to be a member, but let my subscription lapse...

An electronic membership is only 15 bucks a year. That's the only place to get them from.

Cool, yeah I will swing that, was not aware there was such a thing, I knew the last time I was a member it was quite pricey considering I never even looked at any records or anything...

    Thank you

You're welcome. They've made it affordable and easy now that the internet is a way of easy and cheap information.

Between my buddy, who's intent on a fly swordfish record (which is basically wide open), and my daughter's recent interest in tarpon fishing, I signed up. There are a lot of easy saltwater records available, and a great many of the length records don't even have entries.

My daughter will be graduating from college this spring, and the more extracurricular activities she has, the better her job application resume will look.

This is what I have been trying to con her into taking as "fact" anyhow.

The IGFA thing has been covered pretty well, but the Fresh Water Fishing Hall of Fame has no online records. You have to join and get the book.
