Spruce Pine, NC ???

Watched a fly fishing show that was filmed in the Spruce Pine NC area. The trout fishing there looked pretty good and lots of other things to do. Anyone fish the area and have an info.

Spruce Pine is about 40 miles North East Of Ashville, close to the ski slope and Grandfather Mountain areas. Lots of good mountain fishing, also some private "pay to play" fishing there also.
