    Default Good waterproof fly box

I remember seeing one on here I thought being sold by a poster but couldn't find it in the classified sections. Can anyone reccomend an affordable one? Doesn't have to be huge.

One of our Forum Sponsers; "Allen's Fly Fishing" has one of the best fly boxes, IMO. There is usually a link at the top of the homepage. Once you get to his site just scroll to fly box. They are waterproof with clear doors and good latches. Best bang for the buck out there.

Not to nitpick, but I wouldnt say it is one of the best fly boxes, BUT! definitely is the best value, especially since he sells direct and kicks out the middleman who just doubles the price.

Why do you say not the best oregon steel? Is it a water proofing issue?

Unless you tie it to a rock and leave it at 30' or so for a month I doubt if it will leak. It looks like all of the Allen products offer a great value.

I got one of each size. Certainly not disappointed by the price. I will give feedback next week.

Meiho fly boxes are pretty decent. I did a review of one of the newer ones not to long ago.
