Default start the week off right

I'm self-employed (plumber) and today I didn't schedule any jobs for the morning because I have one that is going to start late and last into the night.

Took my son to school, then stopped by the local lake. The water was like a mirror, and fish were rising frequently to slurp bugs off the surface.

Grabbed the 4wt rod from behind the truck seat, slipped my lanyard around my neck, tied on a #16 foam ant, and proceeded to enjoy good action for about half an hour. Several nice bluegills caught (and released) sure put the day in a better perspective.

I may just quit scheduling work on Monday mornings.

Sounds positively therapeutic. As a self employed guy you are probably working 100 hour weeks anyway - might as well take Monday morning off to remain sane.

Nothing better to start the week off right by wetting the line.

I like to spend my lunches that way too.
