Thread: Fly Box

  1. Default Fly Box

Every year for the past several years I tie enough flies to stock a Wheatley box for my two sons for Christmas. This year I am tying a half dozen of each pattern need for spring and early summer fly fishing on Pine Creek, in northern Pa. Problem is a lot of these patterns are on #10's & #12's. The standard Wheatleys are a little small for the larger size patterns. What is a good quality fly box that can handle large flies with no problems?
