That did not look like a light tackle thing to me.

No, it looks more like a "gonna need a bigger boat" thing.

Killer video JP and Dan.

Out with the 2 in with the dozen. Life cannot be complete without a 12 wt.

Edit: PS: This thread got me to thinking about videos, so I posted a link to one on the Lodge Den page that I've never been to before. Those of you with kids might want to take a look. It has nothing to do with fishing, but is less than 20 seconds long. The only link to fly fishing is that I got it off another fly fishing website.

Great 17 second video

A few of those birds were lucky to get away, but that is incredible. The funniest part is that my fiancee sent me this video this morning as well

Thanks for your likes and comments
Don't think any attacks on swimmers or bathers have been reported
Allan...the Lergue is a tributary of river Hérault where there are huge cats...but fortunately it looks it's not deep enough for them
Have a look here to see monsters...these pics were taken by a friend of JM's who's a guide...

Hello JP,

That video is really awesome I have seen some anglers in Hungary who caught a big "Euopean Catfish" and the fish was pulling their boat for about 25 minutes. That fish had around 95 pounds. I have heart that in Spain at the Ebro river they use about 10 pounds carps as a bait
