Gee trout, do you work for them or have relative that does? Got a 500 batting average on linking to them going.

SWMBO and I skiied 17" of new at Taos today. They've gotten over 22" out of this storm according to Dave's Weather. Snow at lower levels (7-9k feet) was pretty wet and heavy, but snow at altitude was pretty light. Not blower pow by any means, but not cement either.

So things are looking up in the northern NM/southwest CO area as far as snowpack. If we continue to get storms like this and the last one, we might even get close to normal. But I'm not holding my breath.

Haven't looked in other parts of the state but we got some nice snow in Denver today. Not quite as much as they were calling for but still good, wet snow. Hopefully the mountains got hammered.

While on the phone he tried to check to see if the new report was out, but the government site was down. I'll try to click it later.

He did say it dumped a wet snow last night with more on the way. He also mentioned southwest Colorado gets most of their moisture in March and April. Man am I ready for a little fishing.
I hope you're right about getting most of their moisture in Mar/Apr, it doesn't look very good right now. Here is the snowpack report as of today Mar 9 and most of the basins in CO reporting in the 70% range.

We had 20 more inches on Friday.
I'm frickin' sick of it. Come take it away.

Rip: I sure wish it was possible, the Rockies sure could use more moisture! I'm certainly not wanting to see another fire season like we experienced last summer.
