Default Why does it look like it is FLYING?

Is it me or does this look like it is going to take flight?

Realized I need to group the materials with the dumbbells differently. Sure does look nice moving in the water though.

Okay, it's a Clouser tied out of some flash and saddles. Does this variation have a name yet? If not what should it be called?

    Hello,

In my opinion this fly looks very good. I am sure it moves pretty nice when you strip in the line.

A good name could be: Sand Hopper
    Best regards from Germany,

I'm no Clouser expert, but sure like the color combo you came up with, it just looks killer in the water, congrats!

Thanks! Was the first fly I got wet in way too long. Bad choice for a first fly considering how rust my casting is. (Yes, I bonked myself in the head with it.)

Sand Crasher? Sand Hopper? I think of it as a "Winged Clouser".

Used to tie a lot of splayed-wing and splayed-tail smallie flies. They seem to have some extra subtle movements to me, except when they are sitting still.
