As I went walking I saw a sign there
And on the sign it said "No Trespassing."
But on the other side it didn't say nothing,
That side was made for you and me.

So I had my shelter half, an army goose down bag, and headed this way <<<<< from the east coast. It was the middle of winter on I-80. The radio was cracklin' and the aluminum rod case was with me....I figured this land was made for me.

I went through Indiana...and made it to Colorado 43 years ago. Kinda like this song.....

I'm not going to lie; it's pretty hard not to have a little Mark Isham playing while driving along a dirt road up the Blackfoot...

I don't listen to music (except for nature's chorus) while I'm fishing, but as a guitarist I ALWAYS listen to music on my way to/from fishing. Day trips feature my preferred mix of hard rock/heavy metal/classic rock. But something happens to me when I'm on vacation in the western mountains... I leave behind the Accept/Metallica/Judas Priest and replace it with CCR/Eagles/John Denver.

I'll listen to music, but only when I'm in a boat or on the bank. Can't be dealing with earphones when on a river. My favourite band of all time, they are Scottish of course

A few that get the old heart strings going, always reminds me of home.

Suitably titled

After fishing for bass with my buddy today and watching him catch fish after fish while I got skunked, even though I was tossing the same flies, I'm going to go with this.
