These are great and looks so simple Brian. I am glad that Pike flies are so easily tied . I will make these variations for the next time. TY

I have to be honest. If you posted a picture of your tying materials with no words at all, I would think, "someone is ready to tie some Pike flies!" There are dozens of options just in the materials you have!

Good luck and let us know how you do

Clean, simple and effective - what else can you ask for?

Variations of Seaducers are hard, very hard, to argue with!

A Seaducer variation is the only fly that I tie exclusively for pike.
The variation is that I tie in a "pillow" of whatever dubbing (you have white yarn) in front of the tie in point for the tail hackle. This cocks the hackles up and gives them a better action than the traditional Seaducer.

the Seaducer.

Guys i went fishing yesterday but the lake had too much weed in it. So, i couldn't use my fly. I would lose it in 5 seconds .

I think you are trying to encourage me to tie more flies. Because it doesn't look really good to me . Ty anyways.

Outstanding! Great job working without a pattern. That will catch fish. I'd suggest picking up some super glue if you don't have head cement, to seal the knots, it will make the flies last longer. A drop will do it. And BTW, you probably do have some fly fishing in Turkey if you hit the surf. There have to be fish there. Good luck and tie that same fly in a couple of different colors, grizzly and orange etc. You should be golden. If you can find a fly shop or a large big box sporting goods store a clouser minnow is a default fly for pretty much everything here in the US. You just need a bit of bucktail or buy some pre-tied ones. They're cheap. Here's a link.
PS As for weeds, here's a quick way to make that fly weed less. Tie in enough 20# plus hard mono on the bottom of your fly to extend past the bend of the hook. (Do this from the front, and tie a bit behind it so it sticks out at an angle). It will act as a weed guard. Any Wallmart or sporting goods store should have this cheap.

Hi.
You can always make Eyes from Mono Line They work Fine use 30,40 or even 50lbs B/Strain Mono.
All you do is hold apiece of Mono between The Jaws of a Pair of Long Nose Pliers & melt The Ends until you form balls on each end.
I've found you have to experiment as you need different lengths of Line for each size Line.
Another way is to thread 2 Beads onto Mono & melt The Ends both ways are fidgety however they both do the job.

Cheers.
Brian
