Default Sage, Winston, Orvis' new rods and prices

Life is not like a bowl of cherries. It's more like a jar of ghost peppers. What you eat today might burn your ass tomorrow...

Mojo: Yikees! Glad I'm not into guitars, I'd have to get a second or maybe third job! Someone sent me an EBay link the other day with an old restored Harley with an asking price of $200k.

I'm amazed to find that my old plain-Jane hot rodded '69 Camaro would be worth five times what I paid for it in '76.
When I came back from overseas and went looking for a replacement, I passed on a really nice one priced at 6K... which would now be priced at 20K.

I smashed an amp and caught fire to a perfectly good original 69 strat in my youth.

25k couldn't replace the feeling it gave me that night.

I reckon that kinda mindset is why I'm usually broke

Oh well...the Hydros will have to work for me.
"I knew a tier once. One time he was holding a lump of cat hair he found on his couch, sort of twirling it about his fingers, tugging at it. I asked, what in the hell are you doing man? He looked startled, ashamed. But I knew what he was thinking. right then and there I decided to just buy my fly's thankyouverymuch." ~ cwg
