    Bad news, but the trout will still be there when you are ready. Just be careful not to re-injure anything during the healing process. Better to take it slow than to risk losing the whole season, or worse.

    Jerry, just thought. But you may not want to go skydiving, for a long walk in a thunderstorm, bungee jumping or whistling past a grave yard old friend. You seem to recover well but you may not be the luckiest soul ever

    Godspeed in your healing Jerry! I've had some of my worst injuries due to falls on ice.

    Hopefully you'll be good to go on the opener!
