    Default Made in USA?

Bringing this thread back from the dead to ask if they have begun making their reels in the USA, as Sierra Trading Post claims?

Anyone have any info about their HO2 reel?

Just heard back from Hendrix Outdoors; their reels are manufactured in China, despite what Sierra Trading Post claims. I have not gotten a response from STP customer service (a little disappointed about that). Still a nice price with a 35% off STP's already reduced price for the machined HO1--the HO2 is even more reasonably priced, but cast vs. machined.

    Anyway, it's an FYI post.

Fished with Alvin Dedeaux last winter on the Guadalupe. He guides Colorado in the summer. Super guy to spend the day with. He has many youtube videos offering help.

Hope it's okay to mention someone you had good experience with. Don't mean to hijak the thread.

Hendrix Outdoors is also being sold by Sierra Trading Post. A comment on their CBR Spey rod , From a frequent fisher... was that the quality exceedes that on some of his 400 to 500 dollar rods. Anything new on them?
